Plainfield Township partners with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office to provide road patrol services. Deputy Craig Holbrook is the Township’s community policing officer and is responsible for developing relationships with the community, ensuring a safe living environment in the Township and leading the Township’s weekly Coffee with a Cop meetings.

Coffee with a Cop

The Kent County Sheriff's Office holds its weekly Coffee with a Cop discussion Thursdays at 10 a.m. at Plainfield Township Fire Station #3, 4343 Plainfield Ave. NE.  Beginning May 19, 2022, meetings will be held at Versluis Park, 3650 Versluis Park NE,.

Deputy Craig Holbrook provides coffee and talks with residents about how to prevent and reduce crime in their neighborhood, answers questions about recent incidents in the area and listens to concerns.

Anyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a cup of coffee with the deputy. Those who are unable to attend and have questions or concerns for Deputy Holbrook can email craig.holbrook@kentcountymi.gov or call 616.240.9162.
