2021 Board of Review Information

The next Board of Review will be held on March 8 and March 10. This year, the Plainfield Charter Township Board of Review will be held virtually by electronic remote access. The appeal meetings are scheduled for the following dates for 2021:

  • Monday, March 8, 2021 - Appeal Hearings – (9am - noon & 1:30pm - 4:30pm)
  • Wednesday, March 10, 2021 – Appeal Hearings – (1:30pm - 4:30pm & 6pm - 9pm)

APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIREDTo make an appointment, either,
1.  Complete the APPEAL FORM HERE,
and email it to assessing@plainfieldmi.org, or
2.  Call the Assessing Department at (616)726-8880 from 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday – Thursday, or 7:30am-11:30am on Friday.

Residents and non-residents may appeal by email or letter, addressed to Plainfield Township Board of Review, 6161 Belmont Avenue NE, Belmont, MI 49306 or assessing@plainfieldmi.org.  The letters must be received by Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

Poverty guidelines and applications are available HERE.  If applying for poverty exemption, the application must be received by Monday, March 8, 2021.

Veteran’s exemption requests, available HERE, must be received by Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
